The strategy of developing early literacy in early childhood through play is an effective approach in supporting children's language development and reading skills. This research aims to identify and evaluate various game methods that can be used to improve the literacy skills of early childhood. The play approach was chosen because it is in accordance with the developmental characteristics of children who find it easier to learn in a fun and non-pressure atmosphere. The various strategies implemented include phonemic games, word games, interactive reading, and story-based games. The research results show that play strategies can increase children's reading interest, vocabulary and phonological abilities. Through play, children can develop literacy skills naturally and effectively, which in turn supports their readiness for the next stage of education. This study emphasizes the importance of integrating play activities in the early childhood education curriculum to create a fun learning environment and support early literacy development.
