Abstract

This study aims to find out what are the factors that affect consumptive behavior in adolescent female students of SMA IT Ihsanul Fikri Mungkid Magelang. The writing of this study is based on a qualitative approach and method with a literature review to analyze what are the driving factors for the occurrence of consumptive behavior of adolescent female students. The data collection method in this study uses interviews, non-participant observation and documentation. The subjects in this study are 160 female students of class X with purposive random sampling of 10 people taken based on a high level of consumptive behavior representative of each room. With this research, it is hoped that it can add scientific insight for students who are in dormitories and Islamic boarding schools so that they have a strategy in dealing with this consumptive behavior by knowing the factors or background of this behavior in order to be able to prevent it. The conclusion of several factors that tend to affect consumptive behavior in young female students of class X of Ihsanul Fikri Magelang IT High School based on this study are family factors, environmental factors, and desire factors.
