Abstract

The purpose of this research is to determine the effectiveness of career guidance with the Talent Mapping method to improve career decision-making skills in grade XI students which will also affect the results of students' career decisions. This type of research uses experimental research with the Quasi Experimental Design method (Non-equivalent Control Group Design). Data collection techniques are carried out by means of observation and non-test instruments (questionnaires). The results of this study show that the career guidance process using the Talent Mapping method can effectively improve students' career decision-making skills. This can be seen from the career guidance process in the pre-test and post-test which showed significant changes, the average career decision-making results of the experimental class in the pre-test was 107.7 and in the post-test was 115.7, while in the control class the average learning outcome of the pre-test was 105.7 and the post-test was 107.7.
