APE USE OF LETTER AND NUMBER MACKAGES FOR DEVELOPMENT COGNITIVENESS OF EARLY AGE CHILDREN 5-6 YEARS AT IT NURUL ILMI KINDERGARTEN

Abstrak

This study aims to develop aspects of development, especially cognitive development for early childhood through the application of the use of letter and number mockup game tools in Nurul Ilmi IT Kindergarten. The type of research used is qualitative research. The data collection method used is through observation, interview, and documentation methods. This learning media letter and number mockup game tool is suitable for use because this game tool is multipurpose and can be used in stimulating aspects of student development. This game tool is an effective game tool to introduce the concept of numbers, letters, textures, sizes and colors that are made attractive that are not boring for children. After using mockups of letters and numbers, this can improve all aspects of development and the main one is cognitive development in group B children of IT Kindergarten, Nurul Ilmi, Brojolepo, Surojoyo, Candimulyo, Magelang, Central Java.
