In accordance with the educational field of the study program, this scientific journal publishes scientific work in the field of Islamic Educational Guidance and Counseling. Because this journal is named "Islamic Education and Counseling Journal (IECJ)" Islamic Education and Counseling Journal (IECJ) is a journal related to Islamic education counseling guidance.

This journal is published by the Islamic Education Guidance and Counseling Study Program, Tarbiyah Ihsanul Fikri College of Science. The purpose of publishing this scientific journal is as a forum for actualizing opinions, research results, scientific articles from scholars, masters, academics, researchers and practitioners in the field of Islamic Education Counseling Guidance and Guidance studies which will then be disseminated publicly for the sake of progress and development of Islamic scientific studies.
