research is qualitative field research using a psychological approach. Data collection methods consist of
interviews, observation and documentation. he results of the research show that: 1. Religious guidance at
the Semarang Women's Correctional Institution is carried out regularly every day in the form of religious
activities, in the form of reciting the Koran iqro', tahlil, diba', yasinan, obligatory congregational prayers,
sunnah prayers and tausiah, guided by a person supervisor of ustadz or ustadzah. The material presented is
1
material from three aspects of worship, sharia and morals, namely: aqidah, al-Qur'an, monotheism, faith
and charity. Religious guidance is followed by all inmates who are Muslim. 2. Changes in the religious
behavior of inmates, from religious guidance at the Semarang Women's Correctional Institution, as follows:
a. Worship, before following religious guidance, the level of worship of the inmates is still lacking. After
following religious guidance, the residents of Binan's religious practices increased, including fasting prayers
and reading the Koran. b. Morals. Even though not all of them have had changes that are in line with the
objectives of religious guidance, there are already several inmates who have shown significant changes. c.
Social concern. Changes in social concern for inmates are almost the same as changes in morals. Many get
better, although not everyone experiences the same thing.
