Abstract

Gay in its current development is starting to be seen in social media circles in the sense that it is men who like men or commonly abbreviated as (MSM). Gays have different psychological and spiritual developments. The purpose of this research is to find out the spiritual development of gays. This study uses a qualitative approach to 1 respondent and 5 respondents from YouTube. The data collection techniques used were interviews, observations and field notes. The results of the research showed that some people felt gay since childhood and some felt that they were developing into adulthood. Gays feel that their differences are different from other people. Since they were small, spiritually they still play the role of a man, but psychologically they are different people. Feelings of liking and loving do not grow in a woman at all. The results of this research were carried out directly or in the field, all of these gays experienced development and confusion or cognitive dissonance, they had doubts in their hearts where there was turmoil and felt that they were aware that what they were doing was wrong. only at the level of rituality. Therefore, the researcher wants to directly examine the spiritual development of gays, which in the future can provide a little knowledge for other people.
