THE EFFECT OF PERCEPTION OF CONGREGATIONAL PRAYER HABITS IN SCHOOLS ON EARLY CHILDHOOD CHARACTER EDUCATION

This study aims to determine the influence of perception of congregational prayer habituation with early childhood character education. The population used in this study amounted to 93 children in class B TKIT Zaid Bin Tsabit 1 Magelang which was determined by purposive sampling technique. The measuring tools used in this study are the congregational prayer habituation scale and the character education scale which is compiled using the Likert scale. The data analysis technique uses the product moment correlation technique. The hypothesis in this study is to determine the influence of the perception of the habit of congregational prayer at school on early childhood character education. The result of the hypothesis is that there is a positive influence between the habit of congregational prayer on character education with an effective contribution value of 9.61% while 90.39% is influenced by other variables that are not measured in this study.
